LokWatch (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a movie and TV discovery app published by Appx. You use it to find something to watch and to view official trailers. We built LokWatch to respect your privacy: there are no accounts, and the things you save stay on your device. This policy explains what limited data is involved and why.
Your watchlist, favourites, playlists, watched titles, decision history, and preferences (region, streaming services, content filters) are stored only on your device. We do not have accounts and we do not upload or sync this information to our servers. You can erase it any time from Settings → Clear watchlist, Clear history, or Reset all data. Deleting the app also removes it.
Recommendations, artwork, trailers, and streaming-availability information come from The Movie Database (TMDB) and its JustWatch-sourced provider data. When you request picks or open a title, the app sends your query and region to TMDB to fetch results. Trailers are played from their official sources. LokWatch does not stream, host, or provide full films or TV shows. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
LokWatch does not show ads and does not track you. We don’t use the advertising identifier, and there is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because we don’t track you across other apps or websites.
Any diagnostic logging happens on your device only and is not collected, transmitted to us, linked to your identity, or sold.
LokWatch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Content filters are available in Settings to limit mature titles.
You can filter mature content and clear or reset all locally stored data at any time from within the app. Because we hold no account data, there is nothing on our side to request or delete.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
